Later Night

Late start tonight, and I didn’t feel like doing a routine, so I picked random games. That lead to the decision to do the six minute version of Super Hula Hoop, just because I wanted something longer.

Six minutes feel like a long time to swing your hips :P

Wii Fit Time: 31 mins
Games: Training Plus, Aerobics

Holiday tomorrow. I hope to get a longer stretch in :)

Meh

I’ve accepted that Tuesdays are going to be a short work out. I really didn’t want to do anything tonight, though, so I’m still counting the little bit a win.

Wii Fit Time: 15 mins
Games: Lifestyle, Youth, Form

I almost had a perfect game in Rhythm Parade. I missed a step right at the very end :P

A New Week

I set up a short routine today, which unfortunately resulted in both the Short Run, and the Cycling game (which is essentially walk/running). I think the combination is cruel and unusual punishment, but got through it.

I need to check and see if the different streams only have three different games as options, or if they pick three random ones per day. I’d prefer the later, but I’m not entirely hopeful :P

Wii Fit Time: 33 mins
Games: Form, Health, Lifestyle

I was considering doing more tonight, but I think I’m done for the day.

Two Times

I woke up stiff today, not really a surprise, and since I didn’t need to be anywhere right away, I went through the yoga exercises. I tried the Create Routine, which is nice because I don’t have to pause in between each exercise and select the new one. It looks like it only holds one, though, so unless there’s a hidden option to save more, I’m not sure I’ll actually use it to store a routine. More likely I’ll just pick what I want to do that day. Unfortunately, the only options are the Yoga and Strength exercises, rather than the games, so I’ll have to add those in or do the ones picked out for My Wii Fit Plus.

Later on tonight I decided to try one of the default routines, and then I played a couple of the game. I saw Rhythm Kung Fu on the list last night after I was finished, so I had to try that :D I may need to count for myself to find the rhythm, though *lol*

Wii Fit Time: 50 mins
Games: Yoga, Health, Training Plus

I also hit my very conservative BMI goal. It’s nice to see the screen give a celebration, but when my daily body tests have shown my BMI fluctuating my more than my goal each day, it’s hard not to be skeptical :P

Still, I put in a new one and decided not to have popcorn (made on the stove, with lots of oil and salt XD), so I’ll still take it as a plus.

Oh, and my computer is now working. I had to re-do the upgrade this morning. Last night’s failed, and my guess is that it was the lack of the video card drivers. So far things seem to be working out much better *knocks on wood*

Tense? You Don’t Say

So, at about 2:30 this afternoon I turned on my computer and waited for it to start up. At about 9:30, I was able to do so without entering Safe Mode.

Oddly enough, the time in between was not how I had planned to spend my day.

Anyway, in order to get it to start normally, I had to uninstall my video drivers. Prior to figuring this out, I went and bought an upgrade to Windows 7, thinking it was an OS issue. While I was there, I also bought a copy of Wii Fit Plus, which is apparently the new version included with the Balance Board now.

It has some interesting additions, including the ability to create routines rather than picking the games one at a time. Since I decided to still upgrade my OS, I put in an almost 50 minute routine, which was probably a little too ambitions, since I’d done Intu-Flow through the first half of the upgrade, since I was annoyed.

Off Game: Intu-Flow Beginner

Wii Sports: 27 min
Games: Bowling, Golf

Wii Fit Time: 49 mins
Games: Mixed Routine (Form, Health, Lifestyle, Youth)

I also added a Mii for my cat, and tormented her by dragging her out to the living room to be weighed :D

Anyway, my computer appears to have finished the upgrade, but is currently sitting on a blank screen with a cursor, and somewhere in between playing the Intu-Flow disc and finishing the Wii Fit routine, my DVD player has decided it just doesn’t want to read anything anymore.

If I wasn’t so dependant on technology, I would take a sledgehammer to the lot of them.
