Then striking to the pads – compression and expansion, relaxation, weightedness. More moving/striking hands - connected forward weightedness. Energy path. Useful demo by Dazz of stopping using just leaning in, then arm just strength and the difference using the whole connected body.
Then a kind of swinging arm drill, principles again. Circles and circles.
Arm rubbing and conditioning.
I want to remember how it feels when it is right and replicate that. I think the Tai chi will help, I feel similarities in the movements.
