In the Park

Beautiful day again. Wasnt 100 percent today thats for sure, have a head cold and feel fairly crap, but its still awesome.

Kotikitae, variations. I see some directions I would like to take this. Progressed naturally to work with hand mitts, striking and bobbing.  Ashihara do this too, dont quite know why I dont find it easier but I’m forming some theories. Chokes – putting the choke on, escaping from the choke. Conditioning, three rounds. I have great respect for Dazz’ hard-toed shoes lol. M-mmmm.

Thinking about some of my training challenges, thinking about a change of direction, or at least a refinement of direction.

Hard toed shoes? Them’s my soft ones! When it was just me and Marcus i always wore my steal caps! ;-)

Maybe i need a good kicking with my own Shoes?

    Will investigate…

also Sue its up to you how hard you get hit. don’t tuff it out, tell the other person to ease off a little.
I know i get a little over enthusiastic sometimes and dot know my own strength.
If you have learned anything from your shoulder problems it should be,
“you are in-charge of your training!”

I thought the contact was about perfect, I’m not badly bruised or in pain.
I do have respect for the person in the shoes too lol!
