did a lot , did stand up and played get the guy out of the circle , drive him out or take him down ……
worked on guard pass variations , concentrating on standing guard passes , lots of basic drilling , good class , way to ot though , dehydration after a day in the factory is the biggest enemie .
good class talk , on training attitude , and the futility of using to much power , power and juijitsu is wrong , it leads to sloppy training an injurys , lack of precision ….
nothing to prove theres always a bigger monster etc etc …

some excellent takedowns , and then we hammered some basics …. technique technique technique
armbars , scissor sweep , rear naked choke , variations and technical points ….
its simple but you got to do it right or it doesnt work … the mantra of the evening
sunday , squats and pullups , nothing phenominal just easing back in
then some play karate , same thing … rust , need to get back on track …. festivitys bah !!!
today , just a little skipping , some yoga , working switches on the ground , pigeon work , imrpomptu and light
BJJ , lots of grip work and clinch work , takedowns from the clinch , shooting from the clinch , how to break grips and grip fighting , awesome material . and mostly just body movment , mobility wins again
groundwork , did some excellent mount work , long mount , and how to get the choke and control from a low and high mount .
did reveiw on a side control escape with a choke variation , and worked on armbars and triangles from guard , got lots of attention and personal instruction , very good lesson , Paulo secret to a good triangle made me chuckle , a lifting of the hips , and a perfect wauke to sweep the arm across and in tight …. Uechi is everywhere …..
Physically am progressing/adapting
today , did some shoulder presses
first night this year at Juijitsu
so much physical improvement needed it is epic …….
am loving and hating that challenge , has been a long time is got to be good for me .
technically a good night , some guard pass variants and rolling , got owned by some bluebelts , and watched Paulo play with a selection of folks between rolls ….. supremely skilled , now juijitsu guys have got flow ……..
juijitsu is a a great lesson in physical specicifity .
