I want to thank George Mattson , he was kind enough to tell me Uechika cant fight , and a martial arts dojo is a waste of time if you want to be a good fighter , he wrote all sorts of crap to take shots at certain folks with a more positive world veiw , folks who beleive TMA is what you make it .

Now when I want to push I read this segment , I was doing it already , have been for almost twenty years , my work loads still small right now , rebuilding , but I wonder if some of these guys know what it is to train as a lifestyle

Sound like your twice a week 2 hour dojo practice? Well friends, if you really want to become a fighter, you must start by losing that beer belly and train under a strict and ruthlessly tough coach. Think that you are going to accomplish this by sitting by the T.V., drinking beer (or fine scotch), cleaning your machine gun, scanning he forums and pretending that you are tough?

Kettlebells

5 sets of 5 with the 32 KG long cycle each arm
1 set of 15 straight overhead press left side
1 set of 14 straight overhead press right side

grip was good , feel great , sure I`ll be wiped tomorrow , but energy system , form , strentgh , grip , all coming together .

Also found out the rest of my kettlebells are in and that completes my set up to 32 kg

those 40s dont look far away , but going to stick to the progression .

really want to attack kettlebells today , but body isnt ready , the hardest part is time

did some band stretches first , spinal Rocks to plow and to pistol squat entry , ran through some Prasara , flock of pigeons , not the flow , just ran through the moves via memory went through the sequences freestyle adding some different knee switches and generally improvising adding in some grapplers toolbox .

not sure if I`ll do anymore today , energys there , but recovery is what I suspect I need .

upper body is tellling me I`ve been working

actually body feedback is good , its agreeing with me what I need to work on , and telling me my targeting is working

did some body levers , average today , core is working should of left these for tomorrow

martial arts

did some flow stuff , did guillotine escapes , more power generation , some Seisan , and hit the pads till my arms felt they were going to fall off .

Lift

did intuflow

out to the chalk pit to lift

did all the warm ups etc then work set for squats

120 kg * 10 , was good low and slow good form , watching the right knee wanting to come in , will stay aware and get the grrove back

pull ups

9 sets of 6 with 5 kg added

then 2 sets of 10 Romanian deadlifts , forms progressing .

um what day is it ……

Did my prasara , flock of pigeons , followed the book was good , am getting more more comfortable with the flow .

Did some wheel pose , and presses , did some upwards dog to compensate .

did clapping quad hops , not many but didnt take many

generally light today , lift tomorrow always a good indicator .

Monday I got friday on my mind

MA tonight , did yeilding a flow , played with wave striking again , did conditioning , played with tension chains and bridging , also yeilding with bridges and pushing with structure and not arms ….. playing personally with some Stuff By John Painter on intent/projection and moving the spine …. verdicts out …..

Also some Band stretches .

striking progressing , the less I try to hit the harder I do hit it seems , good result

did some experemental body levers , went well , hit hard , this I will be keeping

Body levers

the onto kettlebells

2sets of 10 20 kg snatches

then down to work

5 sets of 5 with the 32 kg long cycle each arm , same pattern as last week

went ok shoulder strength is ok , triceps were fine compared to last week , limiting factor this week is grip strength , obviously tired , maybe from paralettes yesterday and body levers this morning , form definately needs some more work , had trouble dropping it back out of the rack position , obviously the grip strength , but form should be clean despite it .

need to stay here and consolidate this pattern .

all in all not too dscouraged , Am probably the leanest I`ve been in years , and wondering about my diet and the workload , am I getting enough caloiries , how does all this supplemental workload im doing affect growth diet etc .

another few weeks should tell .

got to also remember I`m coming back from illness , progress considering is going well .
